21" front wheel

My trike conversion is not quite ready yet but I have a 21" front wheel on my victory cross country and I have been looking for as many have done, a rear tire to fit the front. The problem is there does not seem to be a 21" rear wheel so consequently no rear tire that size. If anyone knows of one please chime in. I'm sure there are trikes with 21" front wheels, I'm just wondering what if anything is available and I'm not looking in the right places. Maybe I will have to stick with a front tire and go as wide as what will fit.

I think metzler has a 140/70/21, that would be a front. Keep in mind you just can't slap a fat tire on a skinney rim.

Thanks for your posts guys. as I was looking at another forum I see that there would be a problem with the ABS system as the larger diameter of a wider tire would set off a code. Keeping the same wheel I see that you can go up by 10 in width but come down by 10 in height. I think I'll stay with the tire size that came on the bike and save myself a lot of headaches.

I'm running a 23" Ness G3 with a metzler tire on my Victory XCT Champion trike. To bring geometry back I'm using a Vic Baggers 26" rake kit which uses trees and a raked back bone, which encompasses 1" inch of stretch and better air intake, to compensate for the larger wheel and adds rake for better steering.

just adding a rake kit which I'm sure Randy can supply with will help. No rake needed on a two wheeler for a 21" but a rakes always help trikes handle better. Vic Baggers 23" raked trees at 550 will work too. As for 21" tires on the rear, why? There is no need really. Even if you did 20"s good luck finding a bolt pattern to match and then your tire will need a lower profile just to fit under the fenders thus providing a stiffer ride.

On mine in**** canned Champions rear wheels and went with some wheels from Element trying to co-ordinate with my front wheel.

What trike kit kit do you have on four Vic?

dirtydan I went with California Side Car Ventura. I have a 2015 Magnum which comes with a 21" front wheel from victory. What I was looking for was a fatter tire for the front not larger wheels for the rear.

The rear has 17" wheels. I'm having a 8 degree power trak from CSC installed now because without it, it steered to heavy.

I will be picking it up Saturday the 14th. As far as the fatter front tire I'm just leaving the stock tire as is since I don't want any problems with the ABS.
