Hi
just trying to remove front wheel on Rewaco FX4, loosened the 24mm nuts on either side of the spindle that runs through the wheel and wacked hard with rubber mallet doesn't want to move, before I deliver some real monty to it I wanted to check if it comes out either way (left to right or right to left). Anybody any clues?
thank you

I have a RF1, not FX4 but I expect yours is the same in the front. It does not come out either way, the shaft has 2 diameters. You can check at rewaco site, they have technical drawings published. You should hit it with the rubber hammer in the left side so you push it towards right side of the trike.

Hi Pisiou
thanks for that, do you mean left to right as you are sat on the trike, which is right to left as you are stood in front of the trike looking towards the back of the trike?

looking at the exploded diagram in the REWACO parts manual the wheel centre shaft is on the left side of the fork (as you are looking at it stood in front of the trike), this would support your view of left to right as you are sat on the trike.
Does any of that make sense?
thanks

As you sat on the trike, this is why I said 'push it towards right side of the trike'. It should come out on the side where the brake caliper is.
