2016 Flhtcutg Passenger seat back

I have traded my 2012 Tri-glide for a new 2016 Ultra Classic Flhtcutg. My wife has a lower back implant, and the 2012 was very comfortable. We rode 500-600miles a day with no problem. However, the 2016 has a lower padding that hits the implant area, and after 10 miles she was begging to get off. Does anyone know of an option similar to the 2012 model that has a higher back padding, and wouldn't hit the lower back than what comes with the 2016? -Bummed in Virginia

Google 2014-15 Bracket Rail Combo I installed these on mine because the wife complained of the backrest leaning back at top putting pressure on her lower back. These allow you to relocate the tour pack 2" back but also raise the tour pack up in the rear which makes the back rest stand up straighter which in turn relived the pressure on her lower back. They are not cheap but stopped the complaining. You could most likely just shim up the rear of the tour pack and get the same outcome of straightening out the back rest to relieve pressure on her lower back

Thanks for the input. I put the lift kit on the 2012, because it was the only way to get into the driveway without scuffing the tailpipe. I never thought about the rail combo tilting the backrest. I have ordered the kit today. Thanks again.
