I have been getting advice from forum members for the last week or two. I found steering really hard! I had the front tire skip a little in a sharp turn.
With your help here is what I discovered:
. Steering was hard because I was only pulling with almost no push on the other arm
. turning was also hard and I now realize I was likely going to fast on sharp turns.
. Suspension pressure was too low I changed it from 20 pounds to 30 pounds and the ride improved.
. I adjusted rear tire air pressure from 26 to 24 with softened the ride a little
I am not sure if the pressure changes did anything to change handling or if it was just my confidence increasing but my new trike is easier to ride. I would be interested in you comment on the improved ride. Thanks for your help. I continue to learn.
I am still not real comfortable on expressways at 70 mph as the smallest movement of the bars make my big "Jiggles" wiggle a little. I thing I just need to get used to it.
