I have been getting advice from forum members for the last week or two. I found steering really hard! I had the front tire skip a little in a sharp turn.
With your help here is what I discovered:
. Steering was hard because I was only pulling with almost no push on the other arm
. turning was also hard and I now realize I was likely going to fast on sharp turns.
. Suspension pressure was too low I changed it from 20 pounds to 30 pounds and the ride improved.
. I adjusted rear tire air pressure from 26 to 24 with softened the ride a little

I am not sure if the pressure changes did anything to change handling or if it was just my confidence increasing but my new trike is easier to ride. I would be interested in you comment on the improved ride. Thanks for your help. I continue to learn.

I am still not real comfortable on expressways at 70 mph as the smallest movement of the bars make my big "Jiggles" wiggle a little. I thing I just need to get used to it.

Push with your outside arm and lock your elbow. Pull with the inboard arm.

Before going to the gym for other reasons, I picked up a set of hand weights and I'd just do exercises while watching TV every night.
The only time I found steering a little hard was on making tight turns at any speed - normal turning I never found to be difficult at all.
So you are right about sharp turns.

I also found the lift kit to ease turning a little bit. ThumbUp

Get a shock lift kit. Handling will improve and steering will be easier.

I was skeptical that 1.5" would make any difference whatsoever, but I'll be damned, once I installed it the steering was noticeably different (for the better), as well as a softer ride when I dropped the shock pressure down from 50 (I'm a fatass) to 30lbs. Probably the best mod I've done thus far
