Hi

I am new here, but was hoping someone could help.

Triglide rear brake lightbar and single lights stay on.

Any ideas where / what we can do to fix this.

With the key switch on IGN, move the front lever back and forth. Like the previous post says the lever might not be properly hitting the switch.

I had the same issue with my 2014. Rear brake switch is a pressure switch in the rear brake line sticking. Not just a warranty fix, but dealer is required to correct it since it is a safety issue.

Wayne asked me to say - do you know exactly where this rear brake switch is located?

Thanks

2017 Freewheeler - brake light stays on

Checked out the front switch, took off the front lever, operating switch manually, no change lights stay on. Trying to locate the rear switch. Can't seem to locate it. Any ideas as to its location? BTW, don't know how long this happens, but the rear sockets are pretty burnt. So both filaments must have been on for a while. Again, a 2017 Freewheeler.

Look at your rear brake pedal, now look where the linkage goes to the master cylinder. If you look @ the back side where the line comes out you will see the switch. If you run a diagnostics on your trike you should probably get a B2223 code

See here how to scan your ECM https://www.fuelmotousa.com/p-29661-harley-trouble-codes.html

Look @ #25 here, it is the rear brake light switch

That was it... Thanks for the location

Located the switch, disconnected a wire, and now the brake lights work with the front brake. Yea.

Thanks, if it wasn't for the exhaust pipe, would've seen it.

Anyone know the part number of the switch....

72023-51e kit, switch, rear stop lamp

Take note of the letter E on the switch, that tells you HD as updated this part at least 5 times now
