2014 Harley Tri Glide Steering

View attachment 103928 It has a 21" front wheel and is a little hard to steer. I put the lift kit on it and helped a little but was wondering if I get it better?

the steeeing is a bit of a chore but I just did the Back of the Dragon in the mountains with Bursitis in the shoulder and arthritis and survived.

You can put a rake triple tree kit on to make it better.

Try locking the elbow of the arm you are pushing with and use your upper body more, also when going to the right push down on the left floor board and push down on the right board when going left.

You can use wider and taller bars or pull back bars for more leverage. As stated above use your upper body to push.

He will give you the info on the how and why to a rake kit and will give you a very good price;)

I had surgery on my shoulder last Dec. Even after ,I had pain after about 100 miles. We rode down to Zook's shop in Tx to start our trip to North Rim ( I know , wrong direction) but what the heck it was a ride to start the West trip. Randy installed the rake kit for me. Left the next day running State & US highways, & did about 400 miles,& NO PAIN. Best $$ spent. We did well over 3,000 miles & shoulder still felt fine. Went to the Maggie Valley gathering & did all the twisty rides there for 5 days. Not only no more pain, it steers so much easier in the twisty's. Thanks Again Randy. :clapping::clapping:

I also have pull-back bars.

I have had a 2011 Tri Glide for several years. We just got back from a 4732 mile trip out west on the 2011. Can't wait to go back. Traded for the 2014 and went to Smokey Mountains. We rode over 700 miles some really good roads. I did notice the 2014 was a little harder in the turns. I didn't know if it was the bigger wheel or what. I will get in touch with Zook's. Thanks for the help.
