2013 Tri Glide

Hi Robert, :welcome: to Trike Talk and your first post

Have you tried lubing the cable? Here is your cable, Remove #3 and 8, clean inside the perch # 7, fill a baggie with Marvel Mystery oil and fasten it around the cable # 6 tightly and let it soak into the cable overnight

Reassemble the clutch and try it again

A lot of modern cables have a teflon lining, and should not be oiled.

A dry lubricant is the ticket, but nothing will cure a cable that is becoming frayed inside.

If lube doesn`t cure it, replace the cable.

Is this the original cable? If it is it is 10 years old, I would replace it

Did you adjust the clutch per the manual

If you pull the clutch in and hold it, look in the perch area with a flashlight, if your cable has an inner teflon liner you will see it
