got caught once again in heavy rain returning from hd dealer to home aprox 100 miles, after having a new rear belt installed and noticed that the radio display had disapeared .dried off bike and checked cd player and it would not return the disk,turn off ignition switch and red backlght on stereo stayed on then off and on again flashing like a srobe light.this will be third stereo.dealer tells me he has a customer who is on his tenth stereo, are others having the same problems,my 08 street glide had 75000 km rode trough lots of rain with no problems with stereo. :AGGHH:

I'm on my second one om my '12. The first appeared to have ground issues internally. Hopefully this one will last.

3rd stereo in the '09 and 2nd in the '11. You know they replace your defective stereo with a 'reconditioned unit.

yep it is a known issue. Just take it in and have it replaced. Make sure you get it done before your warrantee runs out. Radio is a known weak item thru 2013. Earlier ones were better.

2013. Had radio replaced due to white line in display 2 weeks ago. Replacement radio did not have AUX in display, and my ZUMO660 wouldn't play thru TG speakers. Have to order a new one. 3 days later, AUX is back, but, sometimes when I turn TG off with FM on, it goes to AUX when I restart TG.
Dealer did wash TG after service, got water in trunk, but, denies using pressure washer. Never had water in my trunk before this service.

Nope...It may prolong before it fails..

Had my stereo replaced twice under warranty on the 2011. I have no idea if it was water related. Both times it quit it was not raining.
