Hi everyone
I ride a 2013 Anniversary Tri Glide powered by a 120R. Attached are current pictures of the Tri Glide. I have put lots of extas on it and I will say that with the 120R is a real hoot to ride.

Hey Brian T. very nice Trike!!

Good to hear that you like the 120R. Is the 120R stock, or did you do any modes to it also??

I had the dealer put a 120R in my 2012 last winter. With the weather up north here, I only got 150 miles on it so far. I need 500 miles to get it dyno tuned, but love the motor so far. I almost trailered it to Texas (warmer weather) so I could get the miles on it. A bud in Belton offered a place to stay and ride, but I had to pass.

Again, fine lookin Trike, enjoy.

Later, eighty80.

The 120r is stock it's, very rider friendly and it rides in groups or will fly as fast as you dare. I had H-D Dallas install it. I have not had it dyno'd yet but to give a example of the 120 power it will lift the front wheel in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears and that is as fast as i dare.

Sweet looking ride, I love it when someone goes in for the full meal deal. IMO the Triglide should come from the factory with a 120.

I bought mine at H-D Dallas also. Did you work with Rob or Sean? Did they do a good job?

Great looking trike. I like that color even though I'm a "red" kind a guy. ThumbUp
Don't know if your paint is the same as I saw on a trike at my dealer - the trunk lid (only on the anniversary bronze) was not painted with the metalflake like the rest of the trike.

I did the bling thing on my 03 Ultra, added $8k from the P&A catalog - got none of that back at trade it - will never do it again. All I'll ever add now is safety or comfort items. I did buy the Anachy wheels for the convienence of cleaning and keeping them clean-dealer is going to install this week as soon as the tires come in. Glad to be able to see what they look like on the trike.
I wish H-D had a bigger selection of wheels for the trike though. I think the ThunderStar wheels would look great on it. I'm thinking on getting the "baby moon" hub caps from Willy Shiney instead of the H-D ones. :D

I'd love to have a 120 in my trike. If mine keeps messing up maybe i'll sell, trade it or install that beast. Mine has all kinds of power now. I can pull the front up in 1st & 2nd with no problem. Never tried it in 3rd. I tend to shy away from doing that anymore. Don't want to damage the front end when it comes down hard & don't want to snap a belt. Too much money.

The belt and the rear differential are the 2 things I would worry about, I don't know how long the differential will take the hammering from the torque. Right now my guess there are only a hand full of Triglides running around with either big engines of big builds.

That Honda sure looks sharp in your post picture Mike. Can't believe I just said that!

Which one do you like the best?

I like them both, for straight line scare your self silly the Ultra is great, to carve corners in smooth quiet comfort the Honda gets the nod. The Harley's with big engines are a hoot, mines mild, I couldn't imagine some of these other combinations guys are putting together.

:xzqxz:I got the Trike out Monday Mike and was thinkin the same thing. What would this 120R be like in a Dyna? And it's a stock 120R.

I was talkin to my wife about it too. I told her I don't need a third bike, but if I won one, I trade it for a Streeglide and have HD put a 120R in it right off the floor. Of course I would still keep the other two.

I got that big "eye roll".:xzqxz:

I could only imagine how quick that lite bike would be with a 120R in it, I know how quick my 800 lb Ultra is with my HQ 120. Sometime I'll have to post a video I made while fiddling with my new Drift HD camera, shows how quick it'll get to 100:D.

nice ride for the price they want for the anniversary model and the 120 you must have had a lot of change to spare , I'm jealous of that 120 , enjoy the ride

Anniversary is only $1,150 over the price of standard two tone, unless a person buys from a dealer who likes to mark up over MSRP. The 120R really isn't that expensive when you start pricing out building a 120 from scratch. The 120 I built last year run me around $2,000 over what I could have bought a 120R for. If a person does some shopping around they can score a 120R for around $4,500 - 4,900. Right now I can get one from Lake Shore HD for $4,706.76 with free shipping. They run deals on shipping every now and then, when I bought my cases for the 120 I built I scored them for 20% off and since they were over $500 they shipped them for free.

Do some more bargain hunting on a SE 58mm throttle body, a clutch and your ready to rock and roll. If you can't do the work your self you can wait until winter when the dealer's service dept is sucking wind for work and strike a deal on labor. Figure you can score a new Triglide with a 120R and be in the neighborhood of 41 - 45K, not bad when you consider buying a brand new bike and then having it triked. I'll have that in the 2012 Wing I have once it has been triked.
