As I mentioned in that chat room this morning, I spent most of the day riding twisty roads. The roadsmith conversion rides very good.Much like a luxury car, but handles like a sports car.I like this very much.I have the auxiliary fuel tank and tried it today. The pump is a small pump and transfers the fuel slow. At 1st I thought I must have not got it wired correctly and it was not working, but with a little time it transferred the fuel fine.
I have the adjustable preload and it is going to be a great feature, as I can stiffen up the ride to allow for extra weight , or better cornering if I choose. I will need to raise my handle bars now for a better fit for me, and also go to a taller windshield. I seem to sit higher than I did when it was 2 wheels.I may also decide to change springs up front to progressive, just to give it a little more lift up front and take a little dive out of the front, will decide that as time goes on.When we started off this morning it was 48 degrees , warmed up to 60.I am very pleased with the roadsmith conversion.
