1973 Transaxle Oil

Found an interesting link talking about transaxle oil. My '73 is supposed to use GL-4 80w/90 oil. Was going to put GL-5 80w/90 in it until I read this article.

I say dance with the one that brung ya. If VW says use GL-4/MIL-L-2105, then that's the way to go.
