Good morning. Does anyone know what type of connector this is? It's on the left side of my front stem. Single black and white wires. I would like to add a USB outlet and I'm sure I can plug into it. Just not sure of the connector type. Thanks, Todd

You may want to double check this info I’m about to give you, so “disclaimer”….

I believe the actual term is:
Tyco AMP Multilock 070 Series Connectors

It does look (appear) to be the same size as I’ve seen inside the fairings on many touring bikes.
If it is indeed the same, you can check with their parts department as they make a “power splitter” that you can plug into, and you now have 2 ports that “Y” off from that.
That keeps another port useful for future use, and that gives you another port that you can modify.

So you could cut that one plug off & then you have your power & ground that you can connect to the USB port that you have.

It’s up to the end user to connect properly , (make sure which is positive & negative), connect properly: (Best: solder & heat shrink, or my favorite: I love deutsch connectors myself!)….. personally I would definitely try avoid those quick scotch lock connectors and “butt connectors”, but that’s just me.

Hope it helps ……and double check the above info. 👍🏻
