Winter gloves

I have a pair of Harley insulated gauntlet gloves (although you can get a similar style online). But will say at 40* and along with heated grips, they work fine.
Otherwise, the electric ones (that plug into the battery tender port) work amazing if you do go that route.

I suffered through last winter with a pair of carhart thinsulate gauntlets, but they didn't work very good.
Maybe it's time for heated gloves.

I might have to consider that finally. In any event I'll at least go with a good pair of insulated gauntlets and definitely look into electric also.

In the past I purchased electric gloves from “Heated 4 U” along with their controllers & splitter, but since I have my trike now (and installed heated grips) the insulated HD gauntlet gloves work fine and have not used the electric once’s since.

But if you don’t have heated grips, or just want to add a pair for the passenger, I highly recommend the “Heated 4 U” brand!
(They are from Maryland)
They were at Gettysburg bike week and will also be in Ocean City bike week this week!

Olympia makes some good gloves.Bike Rags used to sell them.I have a pair thats 35 yrs old and a pair i got with a bike. Both good gloves.I have electric when it goes beyond that but that rarely happens.

The trick is glove liners, then gauntlet gloves over them. There is a glove company in Bend Oregon that has a very good product line, don't remember the name of the company but I have 3 or 4 pr of their gloves and a pair of liners from them. Good stuff

I'm thinking an insulated gauntlet style leather glove and also an electric pair.
Not sure if I want heated grips though. Getting to be that time of the year though.

Was kinda hoping someone would reply with battery powered gloves. Powering from the motorcycle cycle isn't really an option for me. First of all I have 7 different motorcycles on the road at this time. And most of them have barely enough power to power themselves.🙂

ACTUALLY…. Last Christmas we bought our son battery powered (rechargeable) gloves we got from Costco.
He works at TSC (Tractor Supply Co) and uses them for unloading trucks in the cold with the forklift and can be outside for a while…. He loves them and indeed would be a great option for battery powered, that are also rechargeable.

There are also a few choices to choose from on Amazon and here’s one I randomly picked to show:

I bought battery powered gauntlet gloves when i was still snowmobileing. They worked great but the batteries wouldnt last from sun up till late at night. I looked into extra batteries but for a few dollars more, i bought a second pair of gloves. Battery problem solved and i had a backup pair if needed.

Ya, I like the idea of battery operated. I don't ride much over 130 miles, but its mostly twisty mountain roads. So I'm sure battery powered would work just fine.
I never look forward to that stinging, aching, sensation on my fingertips when it gets cold. I've put up with it long enough. When I get back from our trip, I'm going to get a pair of heated gloves.
Thanks for all the responses. Now I just have to decide which ones lol.
Cheers :)>
