new here starting sporty trike

Hello all, just signed up. Life rider, have owned/ridden my 80 FLH shovel since 1985. Currently also ride my 09 ultra and wife rides 09 sport 1200 low. Beginning the trike conversion for her sporty. Any and all words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Welder fabricator machinist here. Considered creating one from scratch. May have been an option 20 years ago LOL but not in me right now. Looking for best options on axle setup. Thanks Jay

Frankenstein Makes a good kit, easy install, priced reasonable, lots of option's, Get the raked tripple trees, Its a nut and bolt Install You may have a cut the stock rear fender, I have done a half dozen of them, Did a 08 dyna that had some motor work and Vance & Hince straight shots on it, put the ten inch wheels & tires on it, That was a blast to ride being so short .

Thanks Dog, been looking at all I can find, fraken, DNA, champion, ect ....one thing I am trying to stick with is a 2 in 1 exhaust to run either right at rear axle or under. Working out dimensions and clearances in my head, no drawings yet.

Do a lot of research for sure, ask a lot of questions, number one I would like to know is are parts available in the future should you need them, are you getting good manuals with your purchase?
