One of the Origionals
Next Month's Tennessee TOI Chapter Ride will consist of a Section of the NATCHEZ TRACE, HISTORIC LEIPERS FORK, and DAVY CROCKETT STATE PARK...we will start at Leipers Fork, Tn, and get off below Lawrenceburg, Tn.
WHERE: QUIK MART #3, 600 South Jackson St., Tullahoma, Tn (Mitzie's Store at the Intersection of Hwy 41-A and Hwy 55)
WHEN: 9:00 AM CST, Saturday, September 10th
We will need to leave by 9:00 AM "sharp" to get the day in by a decent time. Eat breakfast before arriving, or get to the Store in time. Would be a good idea to have Snacks and Drinks with You for the Day also, as there really isn't anything on the Trace without getting off and riding into a Town. We will have Rest Stops along the way and have a Late Lunch at the Davy Crockett State Park Cafeteria if possible...if not, there will be Other Food places we can use. The "Return Home Trip" will be via the rolling hills of Hwy 64. We will pass through Shelbyville heading to Leipers Fork, so any Members that live toward There, such as Wartrace, Lebanon, Murfreesboro, etc. can wait at the Kangaroo Store at the Intersection of Hwy 41-A and Hwy 64 to shorten Your Travel Distance...if You plan to use the Kangaroo Store, please let me know in advance, THANKS, and I hope to see You there.
