With the narrow bars you may not need to use a longer Clutch Cable some have re routed the OEM cable and not changed it. i think it's worth a try. Ball end long reach Allen wrenches needed to remove radio pull it out enough to get to the handle bar bolts. Good luck keep us posted. FredI have a 2011 and been thinking on changing bars. You need the room to get the release mechanism off the clutch shaft for changing clutch cable, It's a ton of work to get the clutch cable changed. Like I said some people do it with narrow sweepers without changing the cable good luck Shop manual says header pipe must come off if you are changing clutch cable. Do you have a shop manual? Remember you need to remove the lower switch panel and remove the ignition switch watch video's on this it's not hard but pay attention when doing it. With your 11 you don't need to loosen the inner faring but you do need to partially remove the radio remove (4) allen bolts long reach ball end. Slide the radio forward to get to the top handlebar bolts they are Allen (2) also. :Coffee:wrench safe FredJust looking at the clutch cable and cover I think if I used long ball end allen wrenches it would come off without removing the exhaust. Anybody ever try that? Thanks Guys for all the advice.
Read the Manual on TBW throttle by wire some are different watch lots of videos your faring is the same as mine Like Frank said you can run the Clutch cable on the back side of the faring and not need to swap it out your choice... I switched cables. Be sure to get a good seal on the clutch cable at the transmission it will be below the oil level I believe. New gaskets for header pipe needed start at mufflers and come forward good luck. FredI have been watching some of the videos. I do have the shop manual on my laptop. I order bars and clutch cable tonight from Dennis Kirk. Thanks Fred
If a moderator sees them they can fix it. FredDon’t know why they are upside down, I hate trying to put pictures on here, I’m probably not tech savvy enough

You will be amazed! We have had our 2+2 Sweepers (wide) and grips are a little straighter, but we love our's About 25,000 miles of no back and shoulder misery... :good: Ride safe FredI got the bars finished up today. Took longer than I figured but I did do some cleaning to. Took a short ride to try them out this evening. I think I am really going to like these. I am going to put some miles on them tomorrow. I was able to change the clutch cable without removing head pipe. That was a big plus.
Papa Zoom...
Hey I kinda like the sound of that.![]()
I rode 288 miles today no neck or shoulder pain at all. I am very happy with the handlebars. It was well worth the money and work to change them.:clapping::clapping::clapping:
