Is there a way to test to see if your fan assisted oil cooler is working. I had one put on my 2017 Road King and am not sure it's working. On my Tri Glide you can test by turning ignition and kill switch on with trike not running and turn throttle and the fans come on for the radiators on the water cooled heads. I know that Free Wheelers have Oil coolers with fan assist and wondering if you have a procedure to test and see if you're fans are working , I'm thinking it may be the same for my Road King. I want to be sure it is not working before I take it back to the dealer , don't want to look like a dumb ass.

I have not seen any test for this fan, after your bike is warmed up stick your hand down near the back side of the cooler you will feel the warm air coming out the back of the cooler if your fan is running. This is how I checked my fan

Thanks I'll give it a try, also is there a thermostat that controls it.
