So i purchased a 2005 roadglide with DFT Smoothie kit. Beautiful bike but;

Its hard to steer in a fast sweeper, and

It's very loud.

Can I just purchase a set of someones take off mufflers and swap them out? (See photos)

The motor is an 88 with a screaming eagle stage II. If I swap, will I need to remap EFI? I have the EFI tuner and the cd that came with it. Can I do the remap with the software and device, or does it require a dyno?

Any advice would be appreciated.

DK's Thunder Torques will solve the noise problem.... 15/20 minute install ThumbUp...

Probably needs a rake kit installed to help that steering. Contact Papa Zook see his ad main page at bottom CUT-N-SHOOT Customs. He will sell you a rake at a great price.

+1 on the DK torque lolly pops for the mufflers. It will quite it up some and increase the low end torque because of the return of the back pressure.

Thanks for the recommendations. The Thunder Torques will be ordered today..I should have the rake kit in a couple of weeks.
