Trike calendar ? ? ?

I've often wondered WHY NO ONE puts out a ALL TRIKE Calendar ?

It would really Be nice to see a bunch of Trikes on my wall every month..

Does anyone KNOW of such an animal ??

MAYBE RANDY can start getting something going on the note ???

What's that thing in the middle of a washing machine called ha ha ha ha...

This was discussed in 2014/15, don't think anything ever came of it. Think Randy (Zook) has his plate full running this forum and his business, but then, he'll probably speak for himself.

many moons ago we did have a calendar of members trikes. did it for a couple of years. caused to many problems with members that did not get in it. with only 12 months and this was back wen we only had a few hundred members.

When I brought this up you most likely shook your head and said oh no not again LOL

I was the VP of a CHEVELLE Club and we put out a calendar .

I explained to the members that not all of the car could get in the 1st yr.

But I set rules.

it had to be a running car and and they had to submit a pic not me going to get it.

Then I numbered them & threw all the numbers in a bucket and let the membership pick 12 numbers.

The following yr your # wasn't added so on and so forth. It worked out pretty good.

But none of that applies here.

HERE it could be 1 pick from each state. That was submitted for the calendar .

I know where your going with this :laugh:.

I used to belong to a Monte Carlo car club.

I went ahead and did a T shirt design and I DID IT ALL.

All the leg work, Contacting a printer, buying the shirts, Taking the orders and sizes and how many . Hell I even went and helped the screen printer do them.

The design was all ready our LOGO I made all the decisions on everything else.

NO IF AND"S or any arguments.

I took the orders and I mailed each one out to around the Whole country.

I never made a dime on it. I was just thinking to break even but it was close.

But you see I KNEW what I was doing back then and how to get it done.

With this I have NO clue how to do it.

BUT I"D be willing to HELP You with it . ??

I be willing to get the photo's from member and the info where to send them.

But I never tried doing a calendar before... Rick

Calendar

The only easy way to do one , and NO I ain’t doing it , is to just do it and offer it. Don’t ask for recommendations, comments, ect. The problem would be as to how many is the minimum order ? Do you put 4 pix per month or one ? Zook most likely has tons of pix that could be used. Too many helpers would spoil the broth !

Some of us are still old school , and display playboy calendars with Marlyn

Auto supply houses still hand them out . You got to get out more often . :Shrug:

My Town hands them out also, The Wife has it on the kitchen door with all different colored post-its to mark baby sitting days, Doctors appointments...ETC-ETC...And without her translating it for me....I'm totally lost...:Shrug:

I still use them and received 2 for Christmas both are Harley Calendars.

Plus my auto shop where I get my oil changed has them every January .

I have on in my office and one out in my garage.

I mainly use them to see what Holiday's are coming up and to make travels plans.

Anyway it was just a THOUGHT.

I contacted an old friend from the Chevelle club and they don't do one any more either :Shrug:..

I have a Harley calender on my Christmas list every year, :Santa:hard for the kids to screw it up, something I will use, and relitivily inespensive. Looks good and adds some color to the office, and is a conversation starter...

I googled it once. There are companies that will put your pictures on a calender. Price is reasonable. And your bike will be on it.:clapping: And quite honestly you don't really want to see someone elses bike where yours should be do you?:laugh:

There is a template in Microsoft Word for calendars. You can build one with the pictures you have.
