2016 Freewheeler- Digital Display Defaulting To Odometer

I am riding a 2016 Freewheeler, stock except for a MS fairing. It is kept on a battery tender between rides (I am a weekend only rider).

I usually keep the digital display set on gear/rpm and it used to stay there between shutting down and re-starting.

Just recently I have noticed that between starts it defaults back to odometer.

I have had similar things with car radios losing their station memories due to a weak battery.

Is that it?

Check your battery voltage first, if kept on a tender it should read full @ at least 12.7 volts

Next with volt meter hooked up start watch the voltage drop record it it should not be below 10.5 volts
