Stage 5 Tire Shredder on Freewheeler

tire shreeder kit

Just completed stage 5 on my 2015 Freewheeler. Went from 76 horsepower to 118 horsepower with 130 lbs of torque. A real nasty machine now. Pull the front wheels off the ground, guess I will have to mount some wheel extensions on back to keep it from going backwards and over. Put Vance/Hines headers with M/F extensions. Its got a real bad case of heart burn the way it sounds.

hello im thinking about putting the tire shredder kit on my 2016 freewheeler can u tell me will it hurt anything on the rear end or drive belt? and is it good for use with everyday riding im afraid of a brake down because of to much torque

stage V tire shredder kit is stage iv ???

i called harley dealer where they build the motor and install (the tire shredder kit) in Claremont fl. and they also do the dyno right there, they said there is no stage v only stage iv and u need a tts tuner and it runs about $4700 but it will void the warranty and if u look it up on HD sight u can see there is stage 1 stage 111 and stage iv but no stage v. I just wonder about everyday use :AGGHH: i really like the numbers that it gives on HP and torqe i still have a year left on my 2016 FW but i still might do it. does anyone no what the worst thing that could happen manly the in the rear end or drive belt or has anyone got this put on there thike and have any problem??

Might be a 10,000 mile semi race motor ? Doesn’t sound street friendly to me, but then again

Your post got me to digging, alien (a dangerous thing when my wallet is involved ) I checked the S&S website and found the lowest cost engine was over $6000 plus a few extras that would need ordered. The Stage V looks to be around $2700 plus a few extras, it seems. Are my numbers right? If so, the Shredder looks like a solid option. Too, I assume (we all know what can happen when we assume), can be done by an HD shop, and, hopefully, keep your warranty in tact, if you have warranty on the trike. If warranty is an issue, it looks to me like the Shredder is the way to go. If not, and especially if one can do the work himself/herself, the S&S looks truly sweet. Being new to this, I may be way off base, and apologize if I have spoken incorrectly.

My 103 blew up. I put a Harley SE 120 ST in. Dyno'ed 120 hp and 131 torque with stock mufflers. The ST is 10.5 compression, 259 cams, 58 MM throttle body, larger injectors. Runs real good and has a 1 year warranty from HD
