Zumo 350lm sucks

Really disappointed with the Zumo 350lm.Some of the reasons listed below after my initial use

( I updated the maps before starting this). It doesn't recognize the town of Warm springs Ga. The location of the Roosevelt fireside chats, and has a major medical facility.It doesn't recognize the HD dealership in Newnan Ga that has been there for 10 years.It gives the location of the Kroger grocery in my home town of Griffin Ga where Kroger moved from 10 years ago. Don't know what else is wrong. I reloaded the maps software and got the same results.

I don't know how they gather their POI data but I guess if no one tells them they don't know to change it. It would seem that they would have a section on their web site for people to send in changes. Really a problem with gas stations. Can't tell you the number of times I setup to go to a Shell gas Station only to find out that it was now a different brand or not there. I use Shell gift cards because I can get them at a discount. How does the unit perform other then that?

He speaks the truth. Back when I had my Quest I use to have a site I could email problems to. They usually got right on 'em. I remember one instance an update they put out had all the HD dealerships on the opposite side of the road from where they actually were. One of our other members on here and I nearly had a wreck because of. I was looking over on the left and he saw it on the right side and started over but I continued straight ahead looking for it. Nearly had a meeting of the minds right there in the middle of the highway.

As far as service stations. They change about as much as women change their minds. I also use Shell Gift cards but use the Shell App to find their stations instead of my 665LM.

I've never had any luck contacting Garmin when needing info or help. Good Luck

After my last software/map upgrade done on my nuvi it now routes me on a dead end road to get to our nearest major town. The road does actually go thru, but you have to travel on a section of unpaved dirt/mud road till you get to a double creek crossing with large rocks and steep banks. Certainly nothing a car or trike could navigate across and only usable by a 4X4 during normal or dry conditions. Don't know what happened in this one.

Google maps also had things mixed up a couple years back. . If the business was at 325 Hwy 127 North it was shown on 325 127 South.
