Not really in the "middle" of Illinois, unless you are from Chicago. It is actually southern and almost over to the Indiana line (east of Effingham). Sure draws a ton of bikers!

I didn't stand in line for burgers. But the Amish tent with home made blackberry pie covered in home made ice cream was open and I enjoyed that! WOW!

Yep, will be there June 10th for a burger!!!! Looking forward to one since I missed the annual April ride!

Thought id check this place out a little more.

If you've got very far to travel you'd better get up early. I took a look at their website and also sent an email to make sure things were right. They open at 6 AM and close at 1pm grill is turned off at 12:30PM.

Must be be some good burgers as that's the way some of the good bar b que joints are. Cook so many butts and when theirs gone the doors close.
