Freewheeler rear air shock s leak

I checked the air pressure on the rear shocks tis morning and the reading was zero. Apparently I've ridden the past 1000 miles on my new trike with no air pressure. Have I damaged anything important?I know that's difficult to answer so just your best GUESS will do. Thanks all.

How are you checking the air pressure....I ask because ''If' you are using a regular air gauge [Tire] and not a ''No-Loss air shock gauge... You might of inadvertently let all the air out...:Shrug:...
 
No you did not hurt anything. The air is just to supply a preload The oil is still in the shock that provides the damper action.
