Now first off this is not a thread about who does and who does not do their own service.Just a little FYI.While working on my buddies 09 Tri Glide I went to remove the drain plug for the primary and it was just slightly more than finger tight, the trans plug was even looser.I removed the oil drain plug and it was kinda tight coming all the way out.And it was coated with teflon tape. All three drain plugs had teflon tape.
He purchased this Tri used from a reputable dealer so it kinda surprised me.So those of you who let the dealer do your service it would be a good idea to know where these three plugs are located and know what the torque specs are.And save your self a problem out on the road and just double check them when you get it back.
