Looking for a Canadian harley trike?

I`m looking to buy a Harley trike in Canada....seeing as you can`t import one.[you can only bring in a new Harley or new Boss Hoss.]Kits are no good either as you have to get it approved by an engineer with Transport Canada. The guy in my area doesn`t like trikes and doesn`t want them on the road. This should be a conflict of interest as he is empossing his personal feelings /opinions and not doing his job properly.
I`d appreciate any info on trikes for sale in Canada.Right now i`ve bid on a 1997 Harley FXR trike...should know if i got it in a couple of weeks. But i`m looking for back up,incase i don`t win.

Ps:I`m located in Nova Scotia

You might try Rewaco. if you want one in the states you have to import. i know they sell them in Canada.

Welcome aboard good luck on your search. I hate workers that can not do their job.

Noah I'm going to Friday 13th in Port Dover, Ontario this Friday. I'll see what I can find out for you. I know there was a dealer there last time I was there. I also know Hannigan started out in Toronto before he moved to Kentucky & they still have dealers there...

You can bring a Factory built Harley Trike here, friend of mine did it. but theres a warrenty issue . like there is NONE.. he saved $10,000 though.he didnt like it,. sold it and got a 1800 and had it triked here .

It's my understanding that you can only import trikes built completely by the manufacturer i.e. HD, but am not aware that it must be new. I suspect you could import a used Tri Glide that met the criteria. Here's a link that has a good selection of Tri Glides at good prices:

Good luck with your search!

you can buy a brand new 1800 Honda triked for $29,000 in the US,,up here they want $20,000 just to trike your bke, I have met a few guys who bought those new 1800s at even lower price with the kits not installed, brought the bike here as a 2 wheeler. did the proper import paperwork then triked it themselves, I have built 4 myself from scratch, and helped a lot of friends install these kits.

As mentioned above, there is Trike Zone in Alberta. http://www.trikezone.com/

They have trikes of all makes and models, although I think some of their prices are out of this world. Imagine the nice ride from Alberta back to Nova Scotia to bring it home. Sounds like fun.

I just checked the site. Those prices ARE out of this world. Trike riders need to be rich in Canada.
