2016 Tri-glide;

--de-catted

--installed FL-VIED-10 from DK.

--have K&N HD1614 air filter coming in mail

Do these/will these changes require a remap of the system?

Will I need to do anything?

My apologies,I'm not real up to date on this type of technology.I just don't want to sound totally stupid if I have to go to the dealer.

They do not require a remap. Your FL-ViED-10's will adjust the AFR to keep it from being too lean. The instructions with the ViED's tell you how to make slight adjustments in them.

I am also running a decatted pipe with a SE AC and a fuel motto down load, the bike runs fantastic you will love the changes you are making.

Thanks DK....the more I read,and research..the more things go unanswered.You see...I've been riding a shovel(same one)since '81.S&S carb, andrews gears and cam.Pretty basic bike.

Never been good at electrics and electronics.

Kneesbehurting,I see you're up too. Thanks,I get up 'cause the back can only take so much.

DID the 31 tooth pulley, catless, & K&N filter & tuned with Power Vision at dealer. Just returned from a 3500 mile ride & am very happy.

Left this morning about 9,put about 100 mile's on.I have it set just a tad past 50.Ran fine, seemed a little rough at idle.

Once I get the K&N,I'll tinker..if'n I need to.

Need some more air in the shocks, think the wife been eaten too many tater chips as of late.

Brother...believe me,I know how far I can go.She's good people, like's bike's,gun's,just about everything outside..and I've paid my dues. She ain't afraid to let me know if I crossed the line.

The yankee in her just won't let her eat grits or beans and cornbread. We have put a lot of miles together on my shovel over the years.

WTH? No grits, cornbread? I don't know about her....have you done a background check on her?
LOL, just kidding of course, my wife was born in SC and grew up in KY, doesn't like grits, chicken and dumplings, I've done all the checks, she's southern but I still keep an eye on her,

Well after 46 years she's stuck with me

After making all these changes to the bike,I'm not really sure if it is any better.Sunday morning it was about 50+ degrees, man she ran nice. But as the weather warmed up the bike reverted back to I ain't sure.

Now for the $$$$$ question....how do I know if I need to make an adjustment to the vied?

I thought VID's were plug n play  Adjustments ? Someone do tell.

I am basically running the same setup except I have Street Cannons on it. I didn't notice a lot of difference either. Maybe a slight throttle response improvement. When I went above 50℅ the exhaust fumes were unbearable. I have since pulled the vieds and put on an fp3. The change is more noticeable, but I wouldn't call it exceptional. In my opinion the trike ran pretty good as it was.

The thing is,it has adjustments. So if it has adjustments ... when do we know when to make this adjustments?

What determines that an adjustment needs to be made?

You can twist and turn all day,but you kinda need to know in what direction to turn.

Were's my carb and distributor when I need it?

You should talk to Nightrider as I believe he designed that component. He has an internet website. It may even give you more info.
