Leveling Motor Trike - Found assembly error??

So I managed to loosen my right rear ladder bar heim joint, jam nut and thru bolt & nut WITHOUT a torch! WOOT!

However I noticed something different on the left side that didn't match the right side or the service manual found on here.

The RIGHT heim is installed on the inside of the axle bracket towards the center (or left side). And the SINGLE washer was on the inside against the nut/heim. (Washer temporarily moved while fine tuning level).

The LEFT heim is installed towards the left tire away from the center line on the opposite side of the axle bracket. The SINGLE washer is between the bolt head and the axle bracket.

Which is correct?
I believe the service manual has installed towards the center using TWO washers.

On a side note the rear end level is within 1/8th inch, doesn't squeek as much, and pushing on the fenders feels like even suspension pressure.

Hopefully the right side won't bottom out any more. (Waiting to buy/install drive shaft before testing again).

It looks like the bracket in the top picture is broken. Look at it again close and see if its broken. If so you have a problem. Let me know. Hope Im wrong...

Not the gap, the clean metal break on the rear of the top bracket photo. Appears to be a fresh break, bare metal no rust. Again, I could be seeing something that isnt there, but thats what it looks like to me from looking at the picture.

I'm pretty sure that's white lithium grease with the light hitti,g just right.

More pics will be in the album in about 20 minutes or less.

Positive note my other ladder/support heim bars move properly without binding. I may even need to lower my right side one half heim turn.
