Replaced Air Bags on Motor Trike

I replaced the bags on my 2006 GW Motor Trike today (see other thread regarding motor trike air bags.) In making the replacement I found under the body of the trike a label with the date and model of the my Motor Trike. I also discovered I am running 225/60R15 tires which had 35 pounds of air. I've lowered the tire pressure to 25 per the Motor Trike service manual which should effect the ride comfort. I put 15 pounds of air in the air bags and thought I would test ride and see how the trike rides with these tire and air bag pressures. Much to my surprise there has been no tire rubbing with the air bags and it appears to be an inch of clearance between the tires and air bags.

I can't explain your good fortune Bill but am glad to hear it. Several members have had rubbing with the OEM tires so I'd keep an eye on that for a while. Might be aggravated during cornering or something like that.
