ice cream shop in Ticonderoga NY?

Last year some folks from the North East gathering went up to Lake George and stopped in Ticonderoga for an ice cream. I may be going up that direction soon.

Does anyone know the name of the place they went to?

The only ice cream shop I can think of in Ticonderoga is The Wind-Chill Factory on Rt. 9N. There is also a good diner with the best strawberry shortcake, The Hot Biscuit Diner on Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga. Another favorite Diner for bikers in that area is The Bridge Diner on the Vermont side of The Crown Point Bridge over Lake Champlain.

AHHH, the light just went on...It wasn't an ice cream shop, it was the Hot Biscuit Diner and the strawberry shortcake that they were all talking about. They said 3 of them shared one and could not finish it.

Shortcake is way better than ice cream in my book. And I've never met a shortcake I couldn't finish.

I rode through Ticonderoga today on our lunch ride to The Bridge Diner at Chimney Point Vermont on Lake Champlain. It was only about a 130 mile lunch ride.
