Rear Lift Brackets: Any Downside?

Best money spent outside a H-D dealership.

Got my lift and tour-pak kit from tGlidestuff shortly after getting my '13 new from the dealer. Told Dennis I would put a few thousand miles on before changing the brackets to get the before and after feel. I'm sorry I waited so long! After the brackets were self-installed: WOW! Fantastic! Twenty-five thousand miles later, I'm glad I've got the lift kit!
Went on a trip last month and ran into a fellow who bought a '10 trike about a year ago. His continuous complaint was the tailpipes dragging. I told him I never had that problem after the lift kit went on. As we were getting ready to ride out the next morning, he saw me checking the air pressure in the rear suspension and asked what I was doing. I explained. He didn't know he could do that. I checked his suspension, finding only four pounds pressure!. No wonder he was dragging all the time!
Suggesting he get a suspension pump AND a lift kit, and after telling him about tGlidestuff.com, I found out he lives only ten miles from Dennis in Indiana!
Dennis, I hope he got a lift kit from you! And spent a few hours reading his owner's manual!

Welcome aboard. Just FYI we have a forum sponsor that sells the lift that we recommend people support. DK is a very good friend of this forum

One of the best option on did on my TG. It handle great and no more scraping the muffler end caps over speed bumps or coming onto or off my driveway.

I've been looking at the DK website and seriously considering the oil filter relocation / oil cooler package. I've got a lot of wrench time on cages, but not on bikes and am hesitant to try this myself. I've got a request into DK to see if they have .pdf instruction file they can send to see if I feel confident to tackle this myself. I've got DK bookmarked in my favorites.
Thanks!
