Late nighters---unite!!!

That looks cool. I have an Armitage humidifier case I keep it in. I did neglect to fill it this winter, I'm sure. I'll give it a try, but I'm betting it's going to get shipped back to Hawaii for repair when they are finally able to get into their new shop/factory later this year.

Good AM, nice lookin uke, when I was a teenager a few of my close friends started a garage band. I took drum lessons for a while. That's when I realised my coordination sucked. So I sang like Joe Walsh. Very short career . Still kick myself for not learning to play somthing other than the radio :Coffee:

Oh, I never said I could PLAY ukulele...

Sports were my thing, baseball, football, and track took pretty much all my time. I did take a couple of music classes, but never even learned how to play a tonette. Because of that I gave my daughters every opportunity to learn an instrument. Oldest plays the sax, number two is a piano player, third plays the flute, and the forth guitar. It is certainly a joy hearing them play.

Not to purposely change the subject, but I had mentioned that I purchased a another bike. I had been looking for something reasonable so I'd have an extra bike handy when family visited so we could enjoy riding during those events. I don't know exactly how the guy I purchased it from spilled a gallon of glue all over it, but when I saw in for sale I also saw opportunity and knew the advantage of WD-40. It is a product that has many applications and bought the bike on the cheap. I spent the a good part of the winter with it and four cans of WD removing all the glue and it was well worth the effort. The puppy only has 18k miles on her.

Why are you changing the subject??? You act like this a forum about motorcycles or something...:D

Overall, the Heritage Soft tail is my favorite Harley.

Good evening Scott. I don't have any important knowledge of string, wind, or skin musical instruments, my misfortune, because I love music. :xszpv:

The Heritage is my favorite two wheeler for many reasons and just wanted to share my good fortune and labor on this particular one.

I would hope not the skin variety.

Well, here's post 3000 for me. It was a lot shorter time between 2 and 3000, then it was between 1 and 2000. A lot more people to talk to.

Not really sure I have a picture of before.

The wife is always getting after me about before and after pictures of projects so I may or may not, if I do, only the Lord knows where it is currently. I took the pictures posted only minutes before posting. I do understand the, no picture, it didn't happen thing, but it did, so if I happen to run across them I'll post. The windshield got the brunt of the spill, but it splattered and ran like paint runs all over the front not reaching the seat. The rags, oh hell yes, a lot of rags, got a little sticky when the WD softened the glue, but I worked very methodically as not to smear, doing about a two inch section at a time. It was very laborious, no doubt, but worth every moment to me, kind of a labor of love, as well if it didn't work out the wife would have been really pissed I'd spent the money. She wasn't too happy when I purchased it to begin with, because she didn't think it would clean up either as everyone who had seen it before. The owner had even got wax on the matt black of the engine, it looked awful, and WD to the rescue with a soft tooth brush. I was able to easily remove. To be honest it would have been easy to give up at times, but I had to prove to my wife I knew what I was doing all along. I don't like hearing that dreadful, I told you so.

Failures etch into her memory, if you know what I mean. Thank God they are few, because I still hear about them from years ago. <img src="images/smilies/laugh.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Laugh" class="inlineimg" />

Hope y'all escape the weather that went through here yesterday evening. We faired okay this time as compared to the last where our trees were defoliated if not completely uprooted. Just a little hail and high winds this time but tornadoes were spot just north of us.:AGGHH:

Looks like I'm in for some severe weather. Heavy damaging hail with tornadoes in the area. This might be my last post tonight. :Crap::xszpv:

Morning Scott. (Is it still morning if you're not working?)

Got to ride Tuesday, but baby sitting a sick granddaughter today. Supposed to have the storm from West of here come in Thursday.

I'm glad I decided not to go to a weekend picking party this weekend. I got the motorhome stuck in his field last year. Got a ride home and went back the following Wednesday to get unstuck. Our host ribbed me for weeks about it. Told me he thought of me every time he mowed over the ruts. The next time I saw him was at a bluegrass festival. He was with a large group of friends (some of whom were at the previous mud bog!) I went up and presented him with a packet of grass seed and a bag of garden soil. Told him it was a field repair kit.
