AND a Harley can't pull a trailer ??????

Very clever, and just think, pulling a trailer with the Harley voids the warranty, go figure.
My point exactly.

Talked to regional manager for HD and he said it's the added weight on the drive train. I ask him if he'd have to weigh my wife or GF before warranty work could be done.

C'mon, can't you see where that scooter is much more solidly built, has heavier suspension and probably a much more robust engine than a little Harley?

Something tells me they may not have the problem with litigation that we have here.

What about flags?

This thread made me think of the story about a guy's HD warranty voided due to flags mounted on his bike. So, I quick googled "hd warranty void by big flag" and found what I was looking for. Or, for a quicker find, google "Dave Zien". Interesting reading. The bottom line = 2.5 million mile Vet, flying flags on his Harley, clutch goes, warranty void. Geez.

So i do something to void my warranty, So because i'm a Vet i'm entitled to a free repair . I'm a Vet also [Nam66]... And when i do something to void the warranty i take it like a Man, And fix it myself on my Dime...

Don't know really a lot about Harley makeup, but when they say void, what is causing the void, transmission, belt, engine mounts, transmission mounts, or differential mounts? Or all above because they don't get specific?
I wonder if it would be void if Harley used a drive shaft, like a Honda?
Just thinking?

I'm with you. I am so tired of seeing/hearing the label "vet" used, usually in a way that implies that the world should have known that the individual had served and not held them responsible for their actions (or lack thereof).

Before you jump my butt, I too served - USN 57-98.

Points well taken.
I hadn’t taken the story that he felt he deserved something for nothing, the scoot was under warranty, he was turned down, due to the flags, behemoth as they are.

There is no subject that isn't taken advantage of to instigate controversy. Viral communication is the new age gullibility thanks to the internet abyss. It attracts people like sirens.
