Probably all of the above, Michael. Plus, I am always keyed up after playing. That's o.k. I can sleep late and then go riding. Mid 60's today and sunny.

Speaking of riding, I forgot to say, I rode to work!
Low is only supposed to be 50. It'll be a bit brisk going home, but still better than being in a cage.

Just obeyed the fitness band. It buzzed on my wrist and told me to MOVE! after being non-mobile for an hour. So far, 848 steps since midnight. 8167 is the goal it gave me. I made my goal for yesterday (barely) at 11:57pm. Day before last I missed it by nearly a thousand steps. Only day so far I haven't made goal.

Speaking of somewhere else, what circumstances led you to be able to attend UWC? I believe you said you went once.

Heh. Part of it happened on my days off, plus I added a day by calling off. That was back in '13. Unless something changes radically, I most likely will never go back. Nothing negative happened, it's just family commitments, and my wife's work schedule has changed radically since then.

I'm thinking that I would like to ride to it sometime. There is a BIG bluegrass festival the same weekend here in VA.

I'm betting you stick with the bluegrass. UWC has a totally different feel than a bluegrass festival. It's more of a 'free love' type experience. Not exactly that, but kinda, if you know what I mean. The field is literally lined up with tents. The big bluegrass festival close to here has hundreds of big honkin' campers, not tents, with clientele to match.

Fitness band just buzzed. Back from short walk up to 1135 steps now.

Not in the big Honkin' class, but we have a 23 year old motorhome that serves to keep us dry, fed and off the ground. At 8 MPG, it ain't going to UWC. That's why I was contemplating a solo trike trip.

I stayed in the Brown County Inn. It's fairly nice. They actually offer a UWC package. It was $200 for 3 nights and 4 meals. The town (Nashville) is also nice. An older historic town (not quite like what you're used to), that is just nice to walk around in. UWC is about an 8 mile drive from the inn.

For those of you wondering, 'UWC' is short for Ukulele World Congress. Every year during the first weekend in June, a thousand or more ukulele players meet in a field for a three days (some stay more) just a few miles outside of Nashville, Indiana.

Me and Bill are just a couple of ukulele hooligans. :D

Okay folks I dropped off my bike at the dealer to get the conversion done. The painter/installer is going to give me two quotes for a two tone/pinstripes work and repaint of a few areas the are scratched. It will depend on the quote as to what route I take.

I remember driving through Nashville,IN; the home of the Worlds smallest Kroger store!

I didn't even know about UWC or Nashville, Indiana. Thought Nashville was just Tennessee. That's learning 2 things in 1 day. That's 1 over my limit.:AGGHH: Hard to remember more than 1 new thing a day at my age.:D

That's good, glad some one got out today. Hoping to get out soon, still got some work to do in the old garage to be able to get her out. I also live on a dirt road and it takes awhile to dry up good after some bad weather.

I'm on day shift this week due to training (booooo!!), so I won't be here at my normal time. Will check in when I can.

Was taking a nap earlier. Got up and went to the grocery store to pick up a few items for supper.

Potato soup and cornbread in case anybody's wondering.
