Nothing wrong with sleeping late, then when you wakeup it will be time to ride after some coffee.
That thing's a slave driver.
Speaking of somewhere else, what circumstances led you to be able to attend UWC? I believe you said you went once.
I'm betting you stick with the bluegrass. UWC has a totally different feel than a bluegrass festival. It's more of a 'free love' type experience. Not exactly that, but kinda, if you know what I mean. The field is literally lined up with tents. The big bluegrass festival close to here has hundreds of big honkin' campers, not tents, with clientele to match.I'm thinking that I would like to ride to it sometime. There is a BIG bluegrass festival the same weekend here in VA.

Not in the big Honkin' class, but we have a 23 year old motorhome that serves to keep us dry, fed and off the ground. At 8 MPG, it ain't going to UWC. That's why I was contemplating a solo trike trip.
I stayed in the Brown County Inn. It's fairly nice. They actually offer a UWC package. It was $200 for 3 nights and 4 meals. The town (Nashville) is also nice. An older historic town (not quite like what you're used to), that is just nice to walk around in. UWC is about an 8 mile drive from the inn.

For those of you wondering, 'UWC' is short for Ukulele World Congress. Every year during the first weekend in June, a thousand or more ukulele players meet in a field for a three days (some stay more) just a few miles outside of Nashville, Indiana.
Me and Bill are just a couple of ukulele hooligans.![]()
Barely. And you probably wouldn't like the sound of it after I played. :blush:Do you play the Uke Scott? One of those stringed instruments I like the sound of.

So does that mean that earplugs are required?
I did. Took the youngest with me for a fairly long one. The oldest was going to ride with me until the neighborhood kids asked her to play, then *poof!*Hey, Bill did you gat a ride in today?
Kinda.Scott are you out there today?
Was taking a nap earlier. Got up and went to the grocery store to pick up a few items for supper.
Potato soup and cornbread in case anybody's wondering.
Is there any other kind?Homemade cornbread, from scratch?
Is there any other kind?
