My wife and I have been riding for years, been on Harleys since 2003. Have over 150,000 Harley miles. Yesterday was our first time on a trike. We borrowed a friends 2013 tri-glide and went on a 250 mile ride down South in Okla. Turns, twisties, small hills and highway. We loved it! Was it different, yes it was! She started loving it when I pulled in the clutch and let it roll out of the drive, I started loving it when we went down one of those unknown roads and had to turn around. It wasn't as hard to adjust to as most have said. Maybe my ATV riding helped in that area but we had a awesome time. My Road Glide is on its way To Hannigan Motorsports to be converted. Those that have that conversion say it will be twice as smooth and steer better. Cant wait, Life is good with the wind in your face!:D

Congrats on the choice. You are correct your ATV experience made all the difference in the world. I like to be very conservative in my recommendations because one does not someones experience. I took to it like a duck to water. Almost 69 and been riding 2 wheels til 09 3 since. But I had a lot of time on snowmobiles, ATV's and wave runners so when I hopped on the first trike it was off you go without any issues. Sounds like the same for you. When you get your new baby post some pictures.

Congratulations! for you and your Bride!

Welcome please get us pics. of the ride I'm sure your smiles will only get bigger and last longer.ThumbUpride safely fearless

You're going to love the Hannigan, IMO great choice.

welcome from the sunny south carolina. And welcome to the 3 wheel world. You will soon wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Wishing you lots of happy smiles and miles

Great post. I wish I could post this on the H-D Forums forum. There is a big debate/hate from 2 wheelers about trikes. They don't have any good things to say about them and about how hard they are to ride, are ugly and most importantly that they are not motorcycles and should not be on motorcycle forums.
They also say they would give up riding altogether if they had to ride one.
I've always said I'll ride anything with 2 or 3 wheels if that will let me ride with the wind in my face until I'm 90+.

I came with in a few days of taking my old scoot to Hannigan . I was an 06 with only 4K on her. I was a toss up between a New Harley trike or doing the conversion. Wife made the choice with a Brand New 14 Tri Glide. We both LOVE this Machine. BUT I do still love the looks of the NEW Hannigan Conversion for a Harley. IT looks FANTASTIC !ThumbUp

I almost bought a White 06 Ultra with 2,500 miles to convert, I already had my red 06 which I wanted to keep 2 wheels. I ended up getting a 2010 Triglide, wished I would have kept to my original plan of buying the lightly used 06. I could have had one heck of a machine for what I had in the Triglide. IMO, my 06 always felt more substantial than the 2010 did.

You'll like your Hannigan ride

WoO: you'll really enjoy the Hannigan. I had my Ultra converted to Hannigan in '14 and I like it a lot better than I thought I would. My wife gives the ride compliments every time we ride, and she has a bad back. Riding it feels so effortless, and now we're both happy.
Congrats!

Zook & Bullet

Zook got Bullet at Hannigan's now. Paint is being done and trike kit Monday. Zook will have to do update on Pic's as I am in Okla. I'll just say this, Randy (Zook) is working his A$$ off to make sure I'm happy. Let me tell you this that is not an easy thing to do. Tim at Hannigan's and Zook have been busting it to make sure the customer is happy! :clapping:

I had the Hannigan transformer kit installed on my 2010 Ultra Classic. * You are going to love it. *They do a super job and the ride is great. Enjoy!!!!
