Like you I am new to this forum, and to Trikes. I have only been a member and owned my TG for a little over 3 months now. I like and appreciate the maturity and professionalism of this site as it is a wealth of information. But I have to admit....your "Scamming the System" thread #1, 2 and 3 just so you could get your post count up to the required 5 in order to use the Classifieds, is a bit off-putting. It introduces the shadow of doubt that you might be trying to....scam the members?

Sorry everybody, the title was meant as a joke on myself. Even though I haven't contributed much, I figured I was in the group. If the moderator finds it offensive I'm sure they'll take it down. Meanwhile, I didn't mean any harm and I'm sorry to whoever is offended by the tactic.
By the way, no scam. I can prove it to whoever contacts me.

I see and totally get the self-deprecating humor, but I think what most are asking themselves is why doesn't a talented trike builder like yourself have more to contribute than 4 or 5 "scamming the system" so I can sell my trike posts. I'm sure you have a lot of good knowledge in your head that many here would appreciate. Maybe even a "hey, nice looking trike" post would have been a better choice for hitting your 5. At any rate, jump right in and add to the brain trust, then re-list your trike.

You are absolutely right, that's what I should've done and now of course wish I had. How embarrassing. I hate making a bad impression on anybody, especially trike folk. And thanks for your encouraging tone, it's appreciated. This really is a great site. I was astounded when I first found it, I just haven't spent much time on it (as everyone can tell). I wish you and everybody here the best, and happy triking!

The problem is, with so few posts nobody really knows you and your sense of humor. Now you're starting to sound like you're a cool and multi-talented guy that would fit right in here. That's why sharing more of yourself is helpful in getting to know other members and them getting to know you. So now, forget about the misunderstanding and share your wit and knowledge with us.
