Hannigan Transformer Side Covers?

I think mine is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The wife and I think it rides super. I owned the bike for almost 5 years before the Transformer install and it rides smoother now than it did before. I have no complaints at all with the Transformer kit. Just make sure your installer is up to the task. Mine wasn't. As for the fender skirts and ground effects I live on a gravel drive and can not use them. I get compliments every where I go. Hannigans paint matches perfect and is flawless.
If anything happened and I had to replace it I would get another Transformer. I would not look any futher.

"Just make sure your installer is up to the task" That's what scares me. I have two shops near me "Tampa Bay Trikes" They have not done a Transformer kit yet but said the base is basically the same for most installs. Their 40miles away. The other is Trikes by design in Iverness Fl. 80miles away. I havent talked to them yet. My loco Indy wants to attempt it. He has never done a trike kit before. I called Hannigan to get some advice from them and mentioned Tampa Bay Trikes. I asked if they were good and all they said was that they were a dealer of their kits.:confused::confused::AGGHH:

David, the fact that the factory has done most,if not all,of the Transformer conversions should tell you something. Something also tells me this kit takes a lot more fitting and fab work than their other stuff. Sherry and I are very happy with our Transformer and if we had to do it all over again,we would do the same thing. This is an amazing conversion!

I don't have a Transformer however if I was to have another bike converted, I would head to Kentucky!!! I would have it done at the factory. That way I would have my finished trike in about a week vs. 5 months and counting. Also, it would be done correctly the first time!! Just my opinion.......

I had mine installed by my local Harley dealer, they were a Hannigan dealer at the time. The certified installer no longer worked there and the guy that did mine didn't know what he was doing. I am taking mine to Hannigan this fall to get things right. As stated all over this fourum your installer has to know what he is doing and care. I love my Transformer but don't trust my Harley dealer. They are no longer a Hannigan dealer. Talk to someone your dealer has installed a kit for.
