the front end of our 05 roadie with champion kit shakes at 70 like its out of balance. It did this after the kit but before raking with original tire with beads but I assumed it was bearings. I rarely hit 70 so I didn't notice it after raking, All Balls and new tire. Recently I had to keep up with a hearse going 80 and it shook real bad. Tire at 2000 mi doesn't show any wear yet. Is there anything in the kit installation that could cause shake? I did all the work myself.

How tight did you do the steering head nut. It needs to be tighter then what it needed as a 2 wheeler.

I had it tighten to spec. I have 3Ts by Varny. It's aluminum and the nut is on the bottom so spec is probably different.

Finally got a chance to tighten it some more. Had to add a 3' pipe to breaker bar, but the shake is gone. My 40 yr old torque wrench wouldn't go any farther so I just tighten till I felt resistance in the handle bars, then backed off. I suppose it will need checking more often for wear but it's working now.

Tire pressure may very well be the culprit.

Make sure the front tire is at max. inflation, if not air it up and try it again.

Believe me it does make a big difference.
