Good morning folks! Was outside shoveling slop last night in preparation for another big snow storm. Temperature is supposed to drop to 13* after snow falls. Florida trip cannot come fast enough. :gah:

Good morning! Here I sit in Edison,N.J., the customer closed the warehouse due to forecast. Doesn't know if they will be able to unload me tomorrow, I told them I wouldn't be here on Monday. Let's see what happens. Don't you love the snow.........:mad:

Be careful of road salt. If it gets into your frame, you could get rusting in a hurry.
Road salt is very difficult to wash away and New England is noted for using a lot of salt.
Get an enclosed trailer to bring it home, if you can.

Rosy

No worries. Dealership delivering Trike to my home in an enclosed trailer Saturday. Can't wait!:D

That's great, they did that! Good dealer!
Congratulations on your new ride!

Rosy

Thanks Rosy!
They even sent their Sprinter and a 7 x 12 Lark trailer out on Tuesday to pick up the Spyder RT-S and the 2012 Ultra Limited I traded in towards it. Good people and a pleasure to deal with.

Looking forward to clear riding after today's snowstorm. I leave Sunday and meet up with fellow bikers a couple days later in South Carolina. Have to change gears from snow removal to trip preparation. :pepper:

Looks like Sunday might get into the 40's around here - that's almost like a heat wave... :D

Have a wonderful trip - be safe (and warm)... ThumbUp

Jersey, Edison, snow storm - that's kinda like "3 strikes you're out". Hope everything works out and you get unloaded OK. ThumbUp

I did my "320 mile thing" last night. They did a pretty good job on the NJ Tpk road surface. Sucked early on but was much improved as the night went on. Looking forward to the sun and dry roads today.

Well Warren after leaving customer and heading over to Bloomsbury, to wait for Trane to make up their minds. I am spending the weekend and going back on Monday to redeliver the piece. Only problem, just the salesman spoke to the customer, not anyone in operations. So I'm not going any where until I speak to the customer on Monday to confirm, that'ss the problem with letting me know at 5:50 on a Friday evening!!

Evening all. Got what should be the last cold ride of the season in this morning. 10'F on some icy roads to office. Yesterdays storm dropped another 7". 800 mile ride on tap for the coming week. To western PA for week long job. Weather looking alot like spring.

Good morning folks! All packed, just need to load trike. Will take it slow today, as I rest up from snow shoveling. Few things I need to check on trike. T minus 1...

And the final countdown begins! LOL
Need somebody to "carry" your luggage?
Don't tell Janice I volunteered!

Morning all. Snuck in one more 9'F ride this morning. The following is NOT an early April Fool joke or imaginary story. I called HD yesterday to get quick oil change and torque down bolts from new rings/gaskets 1200 miles ago. They said to bring it in first thing this morning. They got work done in 1/2 hr. And not complete ripoff. All ready to head to Jeannette, PA very early Mon morning. About 410 miles and I need to get a couple hours work with done in afternoon.

Come along Rosy! Won't be back until spring. Looking forward to some time in the sun and a great hogfish sandwich. Yummy!

Calling that a Hogfish is being nice. That is one of the ugliest fish I have ever seen.
Enjoy the warm weather down there, Leo.

Next time you see Janice, this is what she catches when she goes fishing. She hates them because they are so ugly! LOL

Thanks Andrew! A local sport fisherman told me he prefers grouper and hogfish. Hogfish has very white, sweet flesh, probably because it feeds on lobsters and other crustaceans.

Rosy, That sure is an ugly fish!

Yes, they are sculpin, when she went fishing for flounder in Maine, that's what she caught!
So, next time you see her ask her about her fishing in Maine when she was a kid!

Had a nice breakfast with Bill and Sherry this morning! It was great that they came of to the Truckstop to visit with me. Talked about grand babies, inner ear issues, Maggie Valley, Euruka Springs, NETT blast, and life.

Didn't come to any solution on any thing :D
Just realized that Bill is enjoying retirement :clapping:
