We are home safe and sound, well maybe not sound..If we gave had a sound mind, we would have stayed in Florida.
Here is a picture of the rig, parked from Florida, and the huge snow pile is the Mini Cooper with the Maxima.
Hope everybody is having a great day.

Thanks Warren, it is going to take a few days of snow work to get my driveway back in shape! Yet, the Grandson next door did a great job plowing while we were way. Also my friend Mike came over and shoveled my roofs while I was gone!
Florida was a Hoot! Maybe next year we will stay longer! We will see.
I can see why the Snowbirds are there, golf, beach, riding, shopping, and great eateries everywhere! Play till you drop!

Glade you made it home safe and sound,NOW shovel that Mail box out HA HA . until the next time we grather ,be safe ,watch out for those slippery slopes , I guess no rideing for awhile ,so drive safe.

Evening all. Got a ride in before the snow storm started. First plow just went by. 7 hrs after snow started. I guess it will be truck for me in morning. Then maybe off to Chicago on Tues. Take 2, if weather and planes cooperate.

Good morning Leo and TT Land,
Hey, you got more snow than we did. You got 7", we got about 2". Good for NH, bad for NJ. We don't need any more snow..Just like the South, they don't need it because all the trees have their leafs and it causes power outages and much damage. Oh well, not much we can do when Mother Nature decides to do something.
Hope everybody has a good day.
Let the snow removable begin in Dover.

We are officially home as a Florida Kitty has found a way by the cacti. Actually that's Bruce's Florida Kitty, as he was the one who told Janice to buy it at the Daytona Flea Market!
So, a memobrilia of our time in Florida for the Snowbird Gathering is now in place, so when we walk by, all our Friends in Florida will come to mind!

Hi Rosy, Don't think we got 7", but whatever it was too much. It's 39* now, and snow is melting fast. All shoveled out, including path to trike. Good weather coming later this week! Ready to roll!

That's great Leo, boy, luck is on your side with the temperatures going into the 40s for your trip.
Good luck my friend and hopefully you will see some Florida kitties when you get there! LOL
Send some pictures of your adventures when you get a chance.
Be safe!

Morning all. Snow ended around midnight. Cleared the driveway Around 5am. Cleared snow off trike cover. Report was main roads clear mostly from 6 1/2" snow that fell. Secondary roads just fun. Nice ride in to office on trike. Except for the morons who don't know how to clean off the roofs of their cars.

Well, the fun has just started. Digging my way to China.
I think it is going to be a two cocktail night to stop my back from screaming! LOL
Hope everybody else is done playing in the snow, if you want, and are driving bye, stop and give me a hand, or just say Hi!
Have a nice night everybody!

Rosy,
why don't you just build a big Fire and sit back and watch it melt:Shrug:

Gee Sully, that sounds like a very good idea. Or, wait till July and everything should be melted by then! LOL
I still have to dig to the cellar door, to get that cleared so we can use it!
Mass. Is going to hit an all time high for snow this month, ever in their history, folks, that's a lot of snow!
Well, we have snow, the South has ice, The West has winds...not everybody has had a good winter..
At least we are safe and sound!

How go you feel about Global warming right now????:p:p:p

Rosy we got three NWS warnings at once this morning. Freezing rain, followed by a flood watch, not to be out done by a winter storm watch for up to nine inches of the fluffy variety. Long range forecast calling for 62 degrees on the 14th. That will bring the bikes out for an early spring ride.

From our forecast, Mass. Is going to get it again! This will set an all time record for them!
Leo, what are you going to get? They say we should get 2to3" of the white stuff!
Janice and I worked all day to get the Mini and Maxima out of the snow. Mini had a broken right mirror.
So, we sit tonight having steamed hot dogs and wait for the white stuff!
As someone on TT Land said, will it ever end?
Hope you had a good day?

Rosy

Evening all, greetings from Chicago. Judging by the forcast, I will be lucky (or unlucky) to make it home to LI tomorrow before the next wintry storm.
Those damn groundhogs. Most predicted 6 more weeks of winter. 2 more weeks to go. I say make meatballs out of those damn rodents.

Rosy, Looks like we got about an inch of snow, but it's raining now, so you know what that means. Thursday night we are supposed to get 1-3 inches. Freezing rain is the worst to deal with.

Forecast looking more like 4-8" now. Enough already! I've been waiting to pick up my new Tri-Glide. Looks like I might be able to get it Saturday if the weekend forecast holds up.

Be careful of road salt. If it gets into your frame, you could get rusting in a hurry.
Road salt is very difficult to wash away and New England is noted for using a lot of salt.
Get an enclosed trailer to bring it home, if you can.
