This last week Lydia, our grand daughter has be out visiting. Today was drizzling a bit, but that did not stop her from wanting to take a little ride. Last time she rode, a couple of years ago, she was on grandma's lap in the back.

Today she was "big enough" that she rode "by herself". :)

That is cool! I took 2 of my grandkids for a neighborhood ride on my Sporty last summer. They loved it. My granddaughter started off very nervous and was holding on tightly around my waist. But before long she was throwing her arms in the air and waving at everyone we passed. That made me nervous. I'm sure they will be ready for a Trike ride next summer.

Money can't buy special times like that!! The only thing is that you should never start something that you may have trouble stopping...:D There could be competition for the GPS (Gal in the Passenger Seat)ThumbUp
Way to go Grampy!!:pepper:

I've always enjoyed having a kid on the back...started with our kids, and now have the younger grandkids about ready to ride. The oldest grandson loves riding on the back, even in rain! He's a real trooper.

We made a lot of good memories this last week. She's gone back home to Missoula now, but we'll be out there this summer to see her again. :)

She knows what the throttle does. She likes to twist it and make noise...no request to ride it herself yet. :)

Hey Kevin,
Looks as though you have a life time riding partner. I took our three yr. old ggson out on our 13 and started a whole new chapter for his little life.
Enjoy the kids and ride safe and FREE.
