Anyone getting "surge" when rear brakes are applied? Only noticeable at slow speed. It feels like a front rotor is warped. Doesn't happen when front brake only is applied, so it's not the front rotor. Someone on the other forum mentioned it also. Willie

Well, for me and my FLRT, no. I will report that I had a bit of wobble when applying the rear brakes for the first couple hundred miles; but I attributed that to the new brake pads most likely - after they wore a bit, that all disappeared.......

Being new to trikes and moving from two-wheelers, I can say I have had to rethink or re-orient my braking strategy a bit.....

Linked brake uses only 2 of the front 6 pistons. Front brake uses all 6 (I'm not completely positive on this as maybe it only uses the other 4????? Please correct me if I am wrong).

This being said you can not compare the front brake being OK like you said. You "could" have a problem when only those 2 pistons are used (bedding, sticking, air bubble trapped, other).

Best to have the Dealer check it out. I'd be asking for a power bleed (at the least) of the full brake system. If that does not remedy the problem I would ask for a front caliper rebuild / replacement.
