Chat Room

Good morning everybody, cool here in NH, in the AM. Should be a great day to do choirs around the house.
Need info on a Trailer Valet to move tandem wheel trailer around the driveway. I have posted on General Discussion also, so, if you have one or know someone who has one, let me know.
Thanks for your help.

Leo, that's a great picture of you and Jeanette. WOW!
It looks like the area one of the Indiana Jones movies was shot at with Indy riding the horse.
Was the passage formed by water running through there?

Hi Rosy, Antelope Canyon was formed by water and wind. It belongs to the Navajo Nation.

Was a long day, but we are in Tucson, AZ. Visit Saguaro NP Thursday.

WOW, did Jeannette have to pick the throngs after you hugged the cactus?
I read they were having a problem by people stealing cacti from the National Park at one time.
I knew they were big, but you really can see how tall they can get. About how old in the one in the picture?
Have a great time!
Thanks for the pictures!

Good morning folks! Rosy, the cactus in the picture is young. It is only starting to branch. It is a shame that we rode Arizona Route 77 in the dark, because there were many of them along the road. They are huge! Took a picture of a more mature cactus in the dark. Hope to see many more!

Route 77? Wave hi to my parents in Saddlebrooke. You might just be passing right by them in Catalina, AZ.
Now as far as Suaro (big cactus). They usually don't even sprout their first offshoot for 50 years.
Speaking of hot. It's been 98'F here in Dallas/Fort Worth area all week. They are calling it the coolest summer in a decade...Bull puckies!!! I damn near melted. Just to keep the heat up, Southern FL next week and Phoenix week after. At least I finally made it to beach for 1st time this summer on Monday.

Yes, we passed through Catalina last evening. Enjoyed ride through Salt River Canyon. Leave Tucson for California tomorrow.

Morning all. Sitting in Philly for 2nd leg of flights home. Stewardess asks me to put my seat forward. Only problem is I never put it back and it is an exit row that is disabled anyways. Seat staying 1/2" back. Thought I might be next one in papers for reclining (which I never do).

T.G.I.F. folks! This is what happens to a Saguaro cactus when it gets too much water and develops root rot. We saw this after last night's storm. :(

Evening all. Rode out to local race track for night. Rain threatening. Just brought the rain gear in with us. Only a couple drops. Most broke up before reaching here.

Bozo, Saturday night Thunder! We have local race tracks here. One races Friday night, the other Saturday night. We also have New England Drag-way down the road.
Good for the fans.
