OK, I have decided that I will probably trike my 2012 CCT with a Roadsmith Kit. Not a deciding factor but a concern is what does the kit do to the MPG on a Victory CCT? A few years ago I had a GL1800 Goldwing triked with a MotorTrike kit and the MPG went from 40 - 42 MPG on 2 wheels to 28 - 30 as a trike. Although the computer on my Victory says I get 42 - 44 MPG it is actually about 38 when calculated.

Appreciate any feedback.

We just did a 10 day trip to South Dakota & Wyoming on our Cross Country W/MotorTrike Vortex. On two lane roads, running 55-60 MPH, we averaged 32-33 MPG. At 65-70 MPH, mileage dropped to about 28 MPG, and on one long stretch of interstate, at 75 MPH, our mileage dropped to 24-25 MPG. Was a bit disappointed on the interstate mileage, but we do carry quite a bit of weight on the bike (Me/wife/luggage est 510#).

I have crossbow and I get 38+ all the time riding solo as opposed to 42 I got on my two weel vision.

Wow. That is great. Is this what the computer is showing as MPG or actual calculation when filling up the tank? On my 2012 CCT the computer consistently shows 40 - 42 MPG but manual calculations shows 37 to 38.

Thanks,

I have a 2012 CCT with a motortrike and I average about 35 mpg at 55 to 60 on the highway. At 65 to 75 it drops to around 28 depending on conditions. I run in 5th gear below 60 mph because the tires on the back are taller than stock and change the speedometer about 11% plus. So at 55 mph I am actually doing about 61 if my math is right. ....
