As of this date 7/8/14 are they still having troubles with the trikes overheating or are there any other issues with the 2014 models???
Just checking before I go buy a trike next week!!!
thanks for the help

Only problem I'm having with the 2014 TG is the %$#@ Infotainment unit. It's frozen up on me 3 times so far. The GPS is nothing to brag about so if you have a Garmin - KEEP IT - you'll wish you did.

Other then that, I'm completely happy with it.

No problems with my new (June 9) 2014. If the infotainment unit freezes up (Harley logo and time only) keep pushing the MUTE button on a re-start and VOILA it comes back to life. Happened to me once. My buddy with a 2014 Ultra Classic showed me what to do.

No problems with cooling system. Everything works like a Harley. Keep that darned ETIMS system turned OFF unless you are really stuck in traffic.

Other little PM repairs show up here on occasion.

WE LOVE our new Trike "Roxy". We have spent $$$ to bling her out to our liking.

This is my second Tri Glide and both I'm happy with. It was necessary to replace the entire exhaust removing the cat on both trikes so my wife would be comfortable. No problems with water temp or anything. just that darn cat.
Hope you enjoy your new trike. See my pic's here.

14's are being discounted $1000 here now. Will be 1500 when new ones arrive and 2000 in Sept. They have 3 2 tone reds.

Absolutely no issues with my 14 Triglide....just returned from a 3,000 mile trip from Texas to South Dakota and had zero issues. My infotainment center has never locked up nor have I had any issues with puking coolant. The CB has worked as expected. The NAV does have a learning curve to it but after 10 days on the road I was comfortable with it. I had a high of 39MPG in South Dakota and a low of 23 in a bad headwind. I have had a total of 4,300 trouble free miles and I am really glad I made the move from 2 to 3 wheels.:)

JJ, I really think you should think twice before going that far from stock. Mine is a 2011 and have had nothing but trouble from mine since day one. But the dealership screwed some of it up. The valve train is really noisey also. Yes you have more get up and go but you can't go any faster. If you do the build make sure they don't put stock lifters back in. They did that in mine and they went out twice and took the oil pump and cams. Make sure they put the SE pump in also. I spent the $1500 bucks and put in the +100 Ported & Polished heads. That will let it breath and give it the extra power. I have the V&H Power Duals with the High Output Mufflers. Makes a big difference. The 259E cams have a nice lope too. One draw back with that cam is it takes a bit to get it going cause it's a mid-range cam. You will need to install the lift kit from Dennis if you go with the High Output mufflers. The only thing I don't have is the bigger throttle body. Had mine done before they started putting that on. Good luck with it. Just had mine totally rebuilt from the crank up over the winter. Put S&S crank kit in with Compitition Cam lifters & S&S adjustable push rods. So far so good. Have 1300mi. on since the build. Had an Indy do the work. Don't trust HD. Good luck!! Jim

6500 miles on my '14 Tri Glide and I am VERY pleased. There were 2 recalls on the cooling system and both solved the identified issues. Hard to say if the 2015 models will be much different.
