Has anyone used Kenda 671 on front?

And again!! Bias Ply Rear Sport bike tire available in the right front tire size / it should be worth a try. Looks like it will mount either way..... If you try one let us know how it goes.... Good Find !!! :goodjob:

I have one on the front of my Yamaha Roadstar.
11K so far and not an issue.
I used it for the same reason, size I needed and a heck of a lot cheaper.
Figured what did I have to loose??

I agree with Bob. Tread pattern might sing just a bit but I sure don't know that for a fact. Yes, please give a report if you do go this way. I'd really like to know how you feel a year from now.:xszpv::xszpv:

Im sure the mileage is different.
But is it worth 2 Kendas @ $85 to every 1.5 MPAs or BTs??
Sometimes lower cost is a better thing overall......sometimes not.

With my 2 wheelers never got more then 10K out of a front tire. More like 7 to 8K with a regular front.
So far with the Kenda on the R* at 11K and showing no wear Im happy.
To bad for me I sold the Valk.
It also had a Kenda rear up front but I put less then 600 miles on it.
So Ill never know which rear tire is better the Kenda Cruz, or the Challenger.

Looking for a new front tire now. Went to leave the garage last Saturday and the wife said stop as I was backing out. Big knot on the front tire. BT45, but it had 17K on it. Temp gauge said 114 the day before so it has seen its share of hot temps. Lots of tread left but it had started to cup. Sounds like I'll be staying with the BT45.

"NEVER TOO MUCH KNOWLEDGE".....ThumbUp...I hope if Anyone tries this Tire, They find This Thread and Post Their Long Term Results using It.....More Useable Choices is a Good Thing.....ThumbUp

The OP asked specifically for input about the Tire used in "Front of TRIKE" application....

Absolutely NO valid correlation can be made or extrapolated between 2-wheeler and Trike concerning Front Tires. NONE-Period.

Also, given the valid input from a knowledgeable, experienced, and well respected Trike Dealer /Installer who tried the Kenda on "Front of Trike" applications, it is NOT advisable or smart even if looked at short-sightedly based on Wallet alone.
The numbers (money vs miles) don't Substantiate or Lie.

Avoid like the Plague ThumbUp

Tire $ is not as big an issue if you get 1/2 the mileage. I have a Macadam 50. One of the last know to exist 26,000 right now. Need a new one soon. So if I get a Kendal and only last 15,000, I will be paying for 2 mount and balancing and down time. That will eat up the $20.00 saving.

Well, looks like Our Member, and original poster (mhgoldwing) has made the decision to go the "Traditional TRIKE TALK Front Tire Route" .....:D...so I guess if we get Ride Reports from a Member, it will have to be from Someone else here at TRIKE TALK.com ...if Anyone here goes this Route, remember to post Your Results and Opinions here in This Thread......ThumbUp:10:

So far only talked with one person that was not happy with the Pilot Activ. Not sure if we are talking about the same tire. Was kind of a know it all guy. Said worse tire he ever used . Wore out in 7,000 miles. Went back to the original Dunlap. I told you are 1 out of 100 that found that out. Most get over 15,000 miles .
