Has anyone tried?

Roadsmith Comfort Controls for the GL1800

I know these have only been available since this past July 4th, but I was wondering if any of you who have a GL1800 have installed these yet. They look very promising to enhance the foot position. See link below;

I agree that they have very nice possibilities. From the pictures I can tell they will not work with the style of Aqua Shields (Motor Trike's name) I have. They may work with the new Motor Trike version though.

I think for anyone without running board foot rests or Aqua Shields there is a HUGE benefit potential.

Roadsmith says that they will work with their wing guards. I imagine that they made sure these would work with all of their options. If you're interested, call Roadsmith and ask them about the aqua shields.

Not really interested Rich. Just adding my 2 cents.....

I modified my rider peg mount brackets so the pegs flip straight up out of the way allowing me to rest my feet directly on the weight bearing Aqua Shields. It took me a couple trips to get use to shifting and braking from that foot position but now it's second nature and my knees are VERY HAPPY....

Don't get me wrong; I LOVE my '07 HD Ultra/Champion. But if these had been available back then I might still be on my former '04 GL1800/Motor Trike. I got rid of it for this very reason. I could never get comfortable on that bike with my long legs.
