Nice day here in NH. 54F outdoors and a bright sunny day. 6 fighters just took off from the old Pease AFB, wish them luck to wherever they are going.
Pease will be getting the new KC 46A Pegasus to replace the aging KC135. Hurray!
Hope everybody us having a great day!

So I've been driving all over southern Florida all week (500 mile circle). Seen a couple trikes here and there. In Fort Lauderdale right now. Pull into parking lot and see some folks on a trike, I pull up start yakking and ask if they are on Trike Talk. They look at me perplexed and finally say...."No speaka English".

I resisted the urge to yell "INS". Or "Viva Castro"!

Hi Big Dog! Nice to hear you got some riding time with Miles. Makes a nice change from your truck. It actually got up to 66* and sunny here today. Put Ride-On in our front tire and drove 70 mph down the interstate to set it in. Rides beautiful! See I have to change clutch fluid before going to Texas. Work never ends. Later!

Good morning folks! Isn't every day Friday? Our fertilizer got washed into our lawn last night. Guess Jeannette will be mowing while I'm away. :cxtv: Have to review the work Jeannette did on our taxes. Been told no trip if I don't sign off on our taxes. :gah: Have a good day, and hopefully you get a great riding weekend!

Leo, if I was you, I would consider going the Southern route. Tornados all over the Midwest and lots of Big Hail storms. Did you see the pictures on the internet? The cars had their windshield and back windows blown out by the hail.
But, maybe by the time you get ready to go the weather will calm down a bit.

Rosy, Yes, I've been researching and watching the weather reports. Looks like we have to follow the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. We need to avoid Tornado Alley. Hail in Dallas yesterday was the size of baseballs. St. Louis had tornados. Yes, that large hail is destructive. Tornado Alley moves north as the season progresses. We still have time before we leave, and it will take time for us to get to the region. I'm inclined to travel I-95 and I-10 to get to Kerrville. Fortunately, it's not hurricane season. :D

I would look at this way, if the weather is bad, hole up and don't travel. I believe there is nothing worse than traveling in bad weather, when you don't have to be any place special.
So, if it takes you a couple more days to get there safe, who will know, not the flowers.
Enjoy your time on the trike, worrying about a tornado coming at you when you are on the road, is no fun!
Stay tune to a weather channel while you are traveling to get the latest weather report in your area.

Rosy, I'm proceeding as planned, although Jeannette is doing everything to discourage me. Putting out feelers for ride alongs, but cannot drive down the middle of Tornado Alley this time of year. Would rather ride alone and be safer. It's been seven months since I took a trike trip. It's time! Will allow adequate time and listen to weather reports, as you suggest.

Rain here in NH also. We will take it better than the white stuff!
Leo, have a great trip, my friend! Post pictures, so we can see what we are missing.

Good morning folks! Another ten days before I leave for Texas, depending on weather. Daughter coming over this morning for me to diagnose the source of her Check Engine light on new to her car. She recently got her license and this is her first car. She is upset, so I will use my reader to see what the trouble is. Probably nothing serious... Have a good day!

Leo, more than likely it will be a sensor out of wack! Some times all you do is reset and it goes away till the next hickup!
Good luck.

Rosy, It was just an O2 sensor. Light goes out after a few minutes of operation. Our daughter is relieved. :)

Morning all. Just sitting outside the missus' physical therapy session. Her eye was looking pretty red last weekend. The doc said she broke a blood vessel in it. I told her that she was giving me the evil eye too often. Antibiotics again. She says I probably posted pic here. I told her I didn't want to scare anybody.

Bozo, Janice is shacking her head at you, shouldn't say things like that about Diane. If she does give you the evil eye, then you probably deserve it! LOL
Leo, great news! Sensors can be a PITA.

Rosy

Leo, lucky you! My engine light meant cat converters. Hubby changed the two lower cats and the O2 sensors, light came back after 3 days. Still reading for cats, which means the two upper ones - the ones hubby REALLY doesn't want to touch!! :(
